The "Pontiac Service Craftsman News" was a monthly publication sent to dealers containing new information and maintenance procedures.
For information on any particular year, check the index for that year and for the previous year. The "model year" runs from approximately October through September of the following year. For example, the 1955 model year began in October 1954 so you'll find information on the 55 Pontiac beginning in October 1954. Similarly, you find '56 information beginning in the October 1955 issue.
Some of the information in these publications makes its way to the Service Manuals, some does not. Service manuals include: Shop Manual, Hydramatic Manual, Air Conditioning Manual, and Fisher Body Manual ("Body by Fisher Body Service News").
